OUR MISSION

The mission of Cayman ABA is to create a positive difference and significantly improve the quality of life of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental delays, by providing effective and affordable ABA therapy, based on your child's individual needs. Our commitment is to establish a cooperative partnership through trust, respect, and communication with your family. We understand that having a child with special needs means a lot for a family, and our priority is to provide families with support as they navigate through the journey of their child's development.

Our goal is to provide high quality evidence-based interventions aimed at improving quality of life, functional skills, and socially significant behaviour. We offer individualised evidence-based interventions that are centred around each child's growth and family needs.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Cayman ABA, our philosophy of care is centred around providing child and family centred interventions that promote the happiness and well-being of the individual.  We believe that each child should have the opportunity to reach their highest potential, and we're committed to providing that opportunity through our dedicated partnership with families.

At Cayman ABA, we approach our work with the understanding that behaviour is complex, and rooted in causes that we cannot always observe. On the one hand, we develop skills that help our clients learn functional skills and strengthen interpersonal relationships.  On the other hand, we work on teaching alternate means for your child to communicate their needs, instead of engaging in maladaptive behaviour that may be harmful, dangerous, or inhibiting to learning. We respect the sensory sensitivities many of our children have, and help our children meet their sensory needs.

Cayman ABA focuses on improving the lives of the children with whom we work, and our goal is to teach skills that will help them navigate through a world that becomes increasingly complex as they grow older.

We stand by these essential core values, in our everyday practice:

  • We promote individuality and the unique interests of children.

  • We respect a child's autonomy and actively teach self-assertiveness.

  • We support families throughout the entire journey of their child's ABA program.

  • We prioritise children and their families first, and our business goals second.

  • We value and actively welcome collaboration with other service providers.

For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.
